Chennai Flood Relief 2018

The City of Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India, was severely affected by heavy and incessant rain falls and this has exacerbated the flooding caused by rains since November 1st week of 2017. The floods have put the district in a state of crisis. The flood affected persons find themselves in a desperate situation, with many unmet vital humanitarian needs such as access to food, safe shelter and essential commodities. The rains and the flooding have meant that people have lost their livelihoods and all their belongings and dependent on external support.

Peniel Mission Trust had decided to help some of flood affected people with special reference to children who are the most affected. It has rendered assistance and support for those who were affected by Floods by Providing them Food, Drinking Water and Monetary Support thus lending a supporting hand in a very Critical situation.
